Dear friends and family,
I am so excited! My new book, Views from an Empty Nest, is now “live”!
Last week my publisher sent me a soft cover copy and a hard cover copy of the “real book” so I could review it one last time before proceeding with the printing. I’m happy to say everything looks great!
To see a picture of the cover, read a synopsis, and order a soft cover copy, hard cover copy, or e-book version, click here!
It will be a few more weeks before copies will be available from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other online distributors. I will keep you posted on when those are ready.
If you lose the direct link, you can navigate to the listing by clicking on the iUniverse web site link: www.iuniverse.com Click on the “Bookstore” tab at the top of the screen and then click on “Rising Star Books.” Scroll down the list of recently published books to Views from an Empty Nest: Award-Winning Tales Written after Fifty.
Rising Star is the special designation iUniverse gives to a book that has received the Editor’s Choice award for being a top quality publication. The author is also encouraged to submit a workable marketing plan. I was thrilled for my book to receive this honor.
I am so pleased for you. What a great accomplishment! Congratulations.
Congrats, Madelyn! Looking forward to reading your stories.
Wonderful news.
Marvelous Maddie . . . . U go girl!
Fabulous cover.
Hey Aunt Madelyn!! How exciting! We will be looking forward to getting our copy!!
Your book sounds wonderful!! I found it through my iUniverse contact sending me the Rising Star page link. Would love to discuss your experience over email if you are willing. I am in the process of publishing my story of hiking the Appalachian Trail at age 40, divorced, with two school age children at home. Would welcome any insight you have to offer!!! Hope to hear from you.
Hello, Willow,
I would enjoy e-mailing with you. Our son Marty, who lives in Maryville, TN, often hikes the Appalachian Trail. It would be fun to hear about your adventures. And we could share insights from our publishing experiences. My e-mail address is: rdymfy@suddenlink.net. Hope to hear from you soon.
